Terms of Service
Servants’ Hearth™ service and platform
Effective Date: 19 October 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully. They form a binding agreement between you and Firelight Logic LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, doing business as Servants’ Hearth (“Servants’ Hearth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the platform and related services we provide (the “Service”).
Authorized access to the Service is provided only by invitation from, or an account request approved by, a Sponsoring Organization. A “Sponsoring Organization” is an organization that has contracted with Servants’ Hearth and that invited you or approved your account request. By accepting an invitation, submitting an account request that is approved, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not accept an invitation, submit an account request, or use the Service.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
1.1 Acceptance
You accept these Terms by accepting an invitation to the Service, creating or activating an account, or continuing to use the Service after these Terms have been posted or updated.
1.2 Eligibility
You must be an individual who has been invited by an authorized representative of a Sponsoring Organization or whose account request has been approved by such a representative. You represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly permit accounts for persons under 18.
1.3 Sponsoring Organization Relationship
Your right to use the Service is contingent on the continued relationship between Servants’ Hearth and the Sponsoring Organization associated with your access. Servants’ Hearth provides the platform.
2. Description of the Service
The Service is a configurable platform that allows a Sponsoring Organization to create and manage pages, modules, and permissions for its members. Features may include public pages, authenticated member areas, calendars, forms, resource libraries, and other modules the organization enables. The specific configuration and content applicable to you are determined by the Sponsoring Organization associated with your access.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that affect availability when practicable.
3. Roles
The Service includes the following platform-defined roles. The Sponsoring Organization assigns these roles and may create and configure additional member types.
- Organization Administrator: manages the organization’s instance of the Service, including invitations, role assignments, and configuration of permissions and content.
- Web Designer: creates and edits pages and content as permitted within the organization’s instance.
- Member: accesses the rooms, modules, and features made available to that role or member type.
Your permissions are limited to those granted by your role or member type. You may not attempt to access areas or data outside those permissions. Role assignments and member-type configuration are managed within the organization’s instance of the Service.
4. Accounts and Security
4.1 Account Requests
Where enabled by a Sponsoring Organization, a person may submit an account request. An account request does not create an account or grant any right of access. The Sponsoring Organization’s authorized representative reviews the account request and may approve or reject it. An account is created only after approval and completion of the account setup process.
4.2 Account Creation
An account is personal to you. You may not share your credentials or allow another person to use your account. Each account has its own username (typically an email address) and a unique password.
4.3 Password and Multi-Factor Authentication
You must use a unique password that is not reused on other systems. Where the Service supports multi-factor authentication, you must enable and maintain it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4.4 Session Management
The Service may automatically end an idle session after a period of inactivity. You must promptly notify your Sponsoring Organization’s designated Organization Administrator and Servants’ Hearth if you believe your account has been compromised.
4.5 Account Closure
The Sponsoring Organization or Servants’ Hearth may close your account when it is no longer needed, when you leave the organization, or for violation of these Terms. Upon closure, access ends. Data retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized persons to access the Service through your account.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other users’ accounts, or systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the information you provide in an account request or account.
A Sponsoring Organization may publish additional rules that apply to use of its instance of the Service.
6. Content
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, post, or upload to the Service (“User Content”). You grant Servants’ Hearth a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and transmit User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you and the Sponsoring Organization. This license ends when the content is deleted or your account is closed, subject to any residual copies required for security, legal, or backup purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
6.2 Organization Content
Content created or controlled by the Sponsoring Organization remains the property of that organization or its licensors. Your use of such content is limited to the purposes of the Service as configured by the organization.
6.3 Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share or that contains sensitive personal information of others without appropriate authorization.
7. Confidentiality
Servants’ Hearth provides the Service so that a Sponsoring Organization may configure permissions to control visibility of its content and activity. Servants’ Hearth will not itself disclose that content and activity in a manner inconsistent with those configurations, except as required by law. You agree not to use information obtained through the Service to circumvent those configurations or to disclose content or activity beyond what those permissions allow.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and underlying technology, is owned by Servants’ Hearth or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service solely for the purposes permitted in connection with the Sponsoring Organization associated with your access. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly allowed by law.
9. Termination
Your access may be terminated or suspended by the Sponsoring Organization at any time, or by Servants’ Hearth if you violate these Terms, if the organization’s agreement with Servants’ Hearth ends, or if continued access would pose a security or legal risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” SERVANTS’ HEARTH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVANTS’ HEARTH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT WILL SERVANTS’ HEARTH’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
